This is so true. When I was a teenager I wanted to work in this really cool store American Rag Cie. in LA so badly but was scared because I didn’t have any retail experience at all. It was funny because my friend’s dad owned it. So my parents simply encouraged me to call my friend Julian and tell him I wanted to work in their store and I did! From there I went to work for Georges Marciano and then Prada. So this quote truly hits home for me. Love this quote. Love Oprah.
Of course that came from Oprah. God love that woman. I can’t even BARE the thought of her not being on air, so I’ll stop. Sigh.
