Los Angeles-based womenswear label MDS Stripes is one of my favorites (I live in the Bacall tee every summer) and they’ve just released their fall collection online. Mark always designs classic, flattering shapes that have such understated elegance. Whenever I’m admiring the collection I always think to myself, “If Truman’s swans were around today, surely this is the label they would be wearing.” The casual pieces can easily be dressed up or down and would look equally fabulous on a 20-year-old and a 60-year-old (no small feat).
