Catwalk: I’m headed to Amsterdam next month (more on that later!) and I can’t wait to see this new exhibit at the Rijksmuseum. Highlighting the fashion of the Dutch from 1625 to 1960, the collection features everything from a pair of 17th-century underpants to a taffeta cocktail number by Balenciaga. Open until May 16, 2016.
Jenna Lyons for How To Spend It: Looking for a fun, quick read? I enjoyed this two-part series (one, two) on Jenna Lyon’s personal style. I haven’t seen a lot of press about the J.Crew president lately—it’s always fun to see what she’s up to.
The Mad Boy, Lord Berners, My Grandmother and Me: I read about this deliciously scandalous memoir in the latest issue of House & Garden and am dying to get my hands on a copy. The author’s eccentric family history is almost too good to be true (think rainbow-hued doves fluttering about a picturesque Oxfordshire estate!). The book came out last year and I don’t know how I missed it?! It’s at the top of my reading list.
Important Ceramics by Pablo Picasso: This upcoming auction at Sotheby’s London is brimming with striking pieces by the legendary Spanish artist. I especially love the “Vase Deux Anses Hautes” above, but given it’s £20,000 estimate, I’m hardly in a position to bid. Previews begin March 31 in London.
It’s All Easy: Gwynnie’s newest cookbook is available for pre-order and I can’t help but covet a copy for my shelf. I can feel it, this is the year I’m going to learn to cook!
