The pixie-cut knock-out also graces the cover of British Vogue this month. It’s so refreshing to read about a smart, grounded young woman that prefers her studies at Brown University to dancing on tables. Cheers to that.
I absolutely adore her in that cute pixie haircut. And I love that she’s such a brain — we need more actors that are well grounded like she is. (I also can’t wait for the new Harry Potter movie.)

Omg, can you say twiggy? She goes the way of the pixie too? I loved her curly locks but this looks good too. And yay for her to being interested in bettering herself. It’s sad that our young American counterparts (aka Lindsay Lohan) aren’t as concerned with that.

I love that until she as 17 she was getting a $75 a week a allowance and had now idea that she had 20 million in the bank. And apparently felt “sick” which she found out and signed up for a money management course.

Cheers, indeed! I must admit I have a girl crush on Ms. Watson. She’s precociously elegant and intelligent, and she seems like a lovely person to be around. Plus, I’m recovering from a three-month-long Harry Potter audiobook obsession (nerd alert!), and there were times when I wanted to BE Hermione!
Like everyone else who has commented, I am also a huge fan of Emma Watson for all the same reasons – talented, smart, normal, beautiful… And – last year I met her at the Harry Potter premiere in NYC – briefly but still a meet. My youngest daughter was so excited and had her picture taken with her. My second son (who is her age), normally quite the confident young man, was totally smitten but even he admitted she was probably out of his league. Let me just add that she is even more beautiful in person!
She looks wonderful and has her head on straight! I wish all young girls would look up to her!!! Marie Claire UK is doing such a great job!

I’ve actually seen Emma twice in person. The first time was at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I remember how poised and star-like she was, posing like the pro that she is on the red carpet. The second time I saw her was a couple years later. I was walking along the Thames in London (I was living there at the time), and only as I was walking past her did I realize who she was. I don’t like to stare at people, so I didn’t get a good look at her at the time. But I knew it was her. Instantly. It’s that star quality again. She just glows. Just like she does in these photos.
