Remember when I shared the dreamy Brooklyn home of landscape designer Miranda Brooks published by Vogue? Well the stunning space was published again, this time by The Times, and I thought you might like to see more of the charming interior. Brooks lives in the home with her husband, architect Bastien Halard (nephew of renowned photographer François Halard), and their two little girls, Violette Grey and Poppy. Below, explore more of Miranda Brooks’ Brooklyn oasis.
The moody and warm living room has a wonderful mix of modern (the Jean Michel Frank table lamp) and antique (those fabulous tufted chairs).
A kitty descends the white painted staircase.
Marthe Armitage wallpaper makes a statement in the magical little girls’ room. The floral sheets seem straight out of the English countryside.
I’m usually not a fan of a statement wall, but the master bedroom with its brilliant botanical moment (custom de Gournay wallpaper) is insanely chic.
A gorgeous marble fireplace in the master bedroom.
A black painted claw foot tub is the focal point of the master bathroom. I love how spacious the bathroom is and that it has a tufted armchair. Upholstery in a bathroom is always so wonderful and cozy.
I love this shot of the back garden. Talk about an oasis in the city! The home’s white brick painted exterior is so elegant. Explore my original post about this gorgeous home here.
