Artist and shop owner extraordinaire John Derian has just unveiled his collaboration with Designers Guild and I want to makeover our apartment from floor to ceiling. The collection includes five wallpapers and eleven fabrics in multiple colorways, all inspired by Derian’s trademark vintage aesthetic. There is even an assortment of throw pillows included (I’m all about the seashells). Did you hear that Derian is opening a new West Village shop (his third in New York) in March?! Hi, Katie! Thanks for the info on John Derian. I collect his stuff, primarily those with ships as I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts (and only 6 blocks from the beach!)…as does John, in Provincetown. I cannot wait to get at least one pillow!
Also, Ben Pentreath in London carries his wares and I know you are visiting there soon. You can google his name to get his website. I follow his blog because it is so beautiful – he photographs his weekends in the country with his partner and dog, Mavis. Absolutely charming – you would love it!
