While I know little about gardening it’s become a bit of an obsession of late and I’m reading everything I can get my hands on and spending all my spare minutes digging in the dirt. Our North Carolina garden has peonies, hydrangea, and wisteria coming in (how lucky are we?!), but several empty beds remain and beg for planting. Below, I’ve rounded up some inspiring garden imagery and some gorgeous garden tools and accessories. Here’s to getting outside and planting some blooms!

Beautiful selection, Katie! I wanted to say that Garden Answer on Youtube is a fabulous resource for gardening ideas and advice. Laura is amazing, down-to-earth and easy to understand, not to mention super talented! Her gardens are beautiful and keep growing and changing over time. You will never run out of ideas and inspiration. If you haven’t already done so, check her channel out!

Well, this list has birthday and holiday gifts for my mom sorted for the next three years, at least! Lovely picks. :) I just finished reading Educating Alice: Adventures of a Curious Woman by Alice Steinbach, in which there’s a chapter titled “Secret Gardens” devoted to a trip she made to Provence purely to learn more about famous gardeners and great house gardens in the region, and now I’m DYING to make a visit myself! (Or at least find a coffee table book about them.)

Recommend Laura from Garden Answer and Bunny Guinness on You Tube and of course the fabulous Monty Don on Gardener’s World on BBC every Friday night (Brit Box on Amazon Prime).

Liz – I need to order that book and then book a trip to Provence, too! Sounds lovely! Thanks for stopping by.

Cindy – Love Monty Don and will now google the two others. Thank you so much!
