How fantastic is this brass lion door knocker by Williams Sonoma Home? I not only want the lion, but also the red door to go with it! Cast in solid brass and then hand patinated for an antiqued matte finish, the weighty door knocker is made in Italy. It reminds me of all the quaint townhouses in London and Dublin and so forth with their bright colored doors and fanciful knockers. A taste of old world charm on a reasonable budget!
I absolutely love this! I am about to paint the door on my mom’s house a strong red, and, coincidentally, we’re putting up an old lion knocker that my grandma used to have. I hope it turns out half as good as this photo though.
