What a week! I broke my thumb (jammed it on the bathroom door, embarrassingly anticlimactic) so I’m typing at the speed of my grandmother (shout out to Rita!) and Gabe turned seven today (if you know how to stop time do LMK…) so it’s been a whirlwind of festivities. Last weekend we went to Long Island for Gabe’s very first gymnastics tournament (cute!) and I swung by the Maira Kalman pop-up here in the city. I attempted to play it very cool chatting with Maira, but let me tell you, inside I was having a major fan girl moment. She’s pretty much THE coolest in my book.
Moving along, some noteworthy odds and ends:

– Simon insisted we see One Battle After Another in IMAX 70mm. It was excellent.

– Banana Republic is on fire lately. This cardigan! These overalls! This coat! This sweater!
