One of my lovely readers (thanks Katherine!) commented saying she was adding to her coffee table book collection and would love to know my favorite titles. What a fun question! If you’ve been reading for awhile you know I’m a bit of a bibliophile and coffee table books are my guilty pleasure. LOVE THIS IDEA!! Heirloom Modern, Tony Duquette, and Tomboy Style are all some of my favorites on my bookshelf and coffee table. I also really love Miles Redd’s Big Book of Chic, Jaime Parlade, and Nancy Braithwaite’s Simplicity!

I just added “California Design” to my collection. Initially it was the gorgeous cover that I was drawn to but the content is interesting too!

Thanks for an amazing post, Katie! I love Twombly, but had never seen Paradise before– that cover is gorgeous! I had Irving Penn’s Still Life on my list and now have to add Flowers, too! I’ve just ordered a copy of Cecil Beaton’s The Royal Portraits, and I’m counting the days until it arrives; the images seem so intimate given the subjects. Thanks again for the quick response and suggestions!
