Remember my hysterical Grandma Rita? I came across this vintage photo of her yesterday among my treasures and had to share. Such chic shades! I’m flying home to California in a week and can’t wait to see her and the rest of my equally entertaining family. We’ll spend a day in Santa Barbara with my older brother, shoot a little Matchbook story, clock some hours at the beach, and enjoy al fresco dinners with my aunts, uncles, cousins, and bottomless glasses of local Edna Valley wine. I may even join my dad on the tennis court (most comical as I haven’t picked up a racket in years…). Counting down the days!
