These shots from Dr. Marten’s Spring 2011 collection are certainly of a pretty pastel persuasion. In high school we all wore Dr. Martens with our kilts and knee highs so they certainly feel like a friendly blast from the past. How very “neo-trad” of them…pink please!

I love that Doc Martens are back, I had a pair in middle school that I babysat for weeks to save up for. They were my prized posession, they don’t fit anymore but I can’t bare to throw them away!

Fun to see them with a little color – I’d wear the pink ones! Black Dr. Marten’s were my barista shoes years ago when I was working at Starbucks, trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up…I’m glad that I was eventually able to switch to prettier shoes for work!!!
Have a great week!

I was just thinking about my Doc’s the other day! I’m sure my Mom has them packed away in a box for me to give to my hypothetical future daughter who chooses to go to Catalina one day. :)

these remind me of the time i decided to paint my docs. oh my, what was i thinking?!?!

Oh my, I forgot about the Docs! Hahaha were we required to wear them? It seems like everyone had them! I wonder if some rebellious Catalinans will try and get away with these pastel ones…

I love the stitching! I’ve been searching for vintage saddle shoes in black/white with the chunky soles for years…the stitching is key…so cute with skinny jeans!
