Just stumbled across this love story / Google commercial on the Yvonne Wong’s darling blog and had to share it with you. I don’t have a TV so it’s the first time I’ve seen it. It gave me goosebumps! Doesn’t it make you happy and giddy and full of butterflies? I love at the beginning when he misspells the “louvre”. Too cute. Have you been to Paris???

Shannon says
I love this commercial!
I’m not the most sentimental or romantic of girls, but it makes me teary-eyed every time I watch it.
the NEO-traditionalist says
Shannon — I am ridiculously sentimental and quick to tear up and this does it for me too. Google, I don’t know how they do it!
The Buzz - Diane James Home says
I saw this ad during the Olympics and all I could say was, “Oh, how sweet!” My husband then rolled his eyes… Paris is a beautiful and wonderfully romantic city and Google captured the aura beautifully!
Design Darling says

the NEO-traditionalist says
Valentine’s in Paris?! I’m so envious. I’ve been there several times, but never over Valentines! I’m dying to take John. Maybe next year, hmmm…. XO

I believe this premiered during the superbowl. Undoubtedly the highlight of the game for many women watching. Love it!
Erin says
I love, heart, adore this commercial!!! I was with my husband the first (and actually only) time I saw it and I burst into tears. Such a happy, wonderful commercial! (Impressive advertising google!)
the NEO-traditionalist says
Jessie — The Super Bowl?! Shows how out of touch I am with the telly! Nonetheless, I adore it!
Erin — A woman after my own heart! I love that my readers, like myself, can be so unapologetically girly! I love this stuff! XO
abbiebabble says
I didn’t watch the Super Bowl, so I didn’t see it then, but everyone tweeted about it, and I’ve been in love with this commercial ever since!
the NEO-traditionalist says
Abbie — Apparently I need to get my fanny on Twitter more often if it introduces me to magical things like this!!!

The first time I saw this was in my advertising class and I cried in front of like, 50 people! Luckily there were some other sappy girly girls so I wasn’t the only one. It’s just so good. I could watch it over and over.
the NEO-traditionalist says
Kate — soul mate! I watched it over and over too. And there were tears.
my favorite and my best says
its the music. it’s all about the music. srsly. play it again without the sound.
that said…it’s clever and sweet and i love it.
the NEO-traditionalist says
I was thinking that the 1,000 time I watched it—it IS the music! Well, that and the thought of getting married in Paris to the love of your life and getting preggers! Sigh.
Nichole says
I totally saw this and loved it! So cute & so clever!
Simply Luxurious says
Loved this commercial when I first saw it. Simple, yet perfect. I have been to Paris and I can’t wait to go back . . . who knows what I’ll find or who I’ll meet. =)
Staley Mc says
Oh my goodness I haven’t actually seen this commercial (shocker since I watch a lot of tv) but that was the cutest commercial. I have never been to Paris but definitely dream of going one day!

i cannot believe you dont own a television! what was behind this decision…or have you never had one?
the NEO-traditionalist says
Hi Jen,
I grew up with a tv, but stopped watching when I moved to Switzerland for two years and when I returned stateside I just never got back into the habit. We still watch our favorite shows (Mad Men, The Office, etc.) just online : )
