I was lucky enough to have one of my design questions answered this week by the lovely and talented ladies at The Skirted Roundtable! To hear their response to my question about their greatest design influences and idols listen to Part 1 of their podcast posted today, August 12. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the blog, it was founded by Megan Arquette of BeachBungalow8, Joni Webb of Cote de Texas, and Linda Merrill of Surroundings and consists of a weekly radio show. The three decorators discuss everything from blogging etiquette to decorating business practice and often interview popular bloggers and designers such as Anna Spiro of Absolutely Beautiful Things (she’s so very talented and yet so humble—one of my own idols!) and the unforgettable Eddie Ross. Be sure to tune in to The Skirted Roundtable’s future podcasts as well. I have found them so very informative as a young designer and am sure you’ll enjoying listening in too!
