A dear friend referred me to the Paperless Post website and I am forever indebted! The “custom online stationer” is absolutely brilliant. The site allows you to design custom online invitations and announcements, deliver personalized envelopes to your guests’ inboxes, monitor as guests’ receive invitations and track their replies. It’s the e-vite gone chic! According to the site, “At Paperless Post, we seek to redefine the tradition of paper stationery so that people can send custom, personalized invitations and announcements with the same thought and care as previous generations, but the way we communicate today: online.” Most inspiring of all? The company was founded by sister and brother team James and Alexa Hirschfeld, just before their 23rd and 25th birthdays. Go-getters to be sure! Below, Alexa Hirschfeld and Paperless Post as featured in Vogue. Alexa and her brother James are both Harvard graduates and Alexa left her job as Katie Couric’s assistant to found the company. Their classy online invites have already been used by the likes of Zac Posen and Diane Von Furstenberg. Farewell e-vite, from here on out we’ll be sending our online invitations in style!
