If you adore Carolina Irving’s textiles, you’re going to flip for her gorgeous new tabletop collection, Carolina Irving and Daughters. The new venture (which has a fabulous seashell logo) was launched by Irving and her two talented daughters, Olympia and Ariadne (an editor at Cabana). For the unfamiliar—a stylist as well as designer, Carolina Irving grew up in Venezuela, and is now based in Paris (remember her spectacular Parisian apartment?). The debut tabletop collection includes plates, linens, glassware, and pottery sourced from the trio’s travels around the globe. There are handmade terra cotta plates that hail from Spain (I love their swirl design) and place mats woven in Portugal. My favorite piece may be the small speckled seashell bread plates which have soared to the top by my Christmas list. Those of you in New York can shop the Carolina Irving and Daughters pop-up at KRB from December 4-8. An excuse to get to New York if I ever heard one! Below, enjoy more snippets of the dreamy new table top collection.
Sculptural blue and white candlesticks.
How divine are these green and brown plates?!
Pieces from the collection styled in front of the Indian bird paintings in Carolina’s Paris apartment.
More handsome plates and candlesticks.
Various pieces from the collection styled al fresco.
The small seashell plates are sure to be a hit.
Love the mixture of the cobalt water glasses with green glass goblets.
An argument that carnations can actually be rather chic.

Literally obsessed with this, especially the ticking tablecloths! Will they be sold online?
Katie Armour Taylor says
Julie – Unfortunately, I don’t think they’re available online yet, but will keep you posted!

I have been obsessed with Ms. Irving since I saw her first apartment in New York featured more than 30 years ago in House & Garden (I think) which she shared with her then husband. She is the most natural of “decorators” but gets it right every time. Love her fabrics and hope this tableware will be online for buying.
