Our sweet Gabe is six! It’s impossible to put in

Our sweet Gabe is six! It’s impossible to put into words how much we love this little guy. He’s quick-witted, ridiculously sassy, and keeps us on our toes. He lives to cuddle, give smooches, and can’t resist a family hug. He constantly antagonizes our poor pug (sibling rivalry) and talks some serious smack during competitive family card games. Lately, when I catch him being naughty he says, “I’m sorry mommy. You are SO beautiful,” with such a cheeky grin (the manipulation!). He’s obsessed with trains and will gladly tell you obscure facts about the NY subway, Paris metro, and London tube. He thinks it’s cool that our family looks different because “if we all looked the same that would be boring!” He insists on taking the bus an extra stop each morning to say hello to his houseless friend and check if he needs anything. Parenthood isn’t always easy (understatement of the year), but being Gabe’s mom makes me feel like the luckiest person on earth. Happy birthday, beautiful boy. We’re so grateful you’re ours.
