Hello friends! We’re back home in New York and jet lagged as can be. I celebrated my 39th birthday Sunday. Ten years ago I dreaded the idea of aging (insecurities about not being where I thought I ought to be), but these days I’m quite excited at the prospect of forty looming just around the corner. There is a nagging yet slightly motivating feeling of having 365 days to get my life together. Should I stop drinking Diet Coke? Start exercising like a responsible adult? Maybe this is my year!
Some noteworthy odds and ends:
– So many cute shoes, bags, and clothing now 30% off at the Loeffler Randall Spring Sale Event.
– Eyeing these playful napkins for the Easter brunch.
– Just unwrapped these classic studs, a generous gift from Dorsey. I went for the 1 carat in silver and they SPARKLE. I immediately put them on and feel so fancy (despite being on my sofa in sweats).
– Lots of fantastic new arrivals at J.Crew!
– My friend Riley wrote the sweetest little book which would make a darling Mother’s Day gift. Everything she does is magic.
– Pierce & Ward did a fantastic collab with West Elm. So many great pieces!
– A statement piece for spring.
– Thinking Gabe needs one of these cheerful lamps in his room.
– I adore artist Kate Schelter so naturally this skirt made me smile.
