Sending you all a big hug this week. I know not everyone was saddened by the outcome of the election, but my little family and our closest friends are devastated. I’m trying to think positive knowing that change that will eventually come, but at dark moments like this, it’s hard. Sending extra love to anyone in America who is feeling scared for their basic human rights, their safety, their access to healthcare…hang in there and please know you have my support.
Moving along to regular programming (this post is quite long, my apologies, I’m considering it retail therapy), lots of new odds and ends to share:
– If you find yourself in NYC, be sure to swing by the Maira Kalman exhibit at the Mary Ryan Gallery. I went last week and was so inspired by the originals from her new book Still Life with Remorse. The book is Kalman’s most personal to date and I found it incredibly moving.
– Don’t sleep on Ann Mashburn’s new arrivals. They are so so good. Give me all the silk shantung and velvet, please.
– If you haven’t yet watched Will & Harper on Netflix, I hope you will. It’s a beautiful documentary.
– Ariel Gordon Jewelry is having her biggest sale of the year and I rounded up all my favorites here. Get 20% off orders over $250 with code CHEERS2024.
– Immediately added this ivy candle sconce by Jess Wheeler to my home wish list. So magical.
– Coco Shop launched their resort collection and there are some darling pieces that have me dreaming of an island getaway.
– My friend Kaja was wearing this cute tiny crossbody on the subway yesterday and it looked so cool. I’m all for the mini Longchamp trend (especially with bag charms which appeal immensely to my inner thirteen-year-old).
– Just a reminder that Serena & Lily’s biggest sale of the year is here. Get 25% off (or more) and free shipping. All my favorites are saved here.
And of course, below are tons of new finds to explore. I hope you discover something you love.

I’m with you regarding the election results and I thank you very much for acknowledging it…not always easy these day.
I love your lists–they’re mostly aspirational for me but they give me ideas.

Katie, Feeling devastated about this election too. Sending hugs to you and your family.

Katie, you’re my favorite influencer. Thank you for sharing your heart here. I have unfollowed several influencers when they haven’t addressed what’s happening at all and act like it’s just another week. The silence is deafening and they need to read the room. I know the majority of your followers are women. It takes real courage to use your voice in this space.

So well said, Katie, thank you. My extended tribe is also reeling at the results of the election. Sending love and strength to all who need it, including you and your family.

My family is also in shock, struggling to find our feet in the wake of the election. Sending you and your tribe a big hug as we navigate this.

Yup! Feeling devastated too. I volunteered for Dems all summer and met so many wonderful people ready to build a more inclusive future. Despite everything they’re out there. I’m not looking forward to the next four years. But mid terms are in two years and there are so many people ready to put up the good fight. I feel so sad for everyone who will be hurt by this and so fired up at the same time.
