I had hoped to get this post up sooner as Hanukkah is less than a week away, but better late than never! I’m especially excited to celebrate Hanukkah with Gabe and Simon this year because I’ve been taking a wonderful “Introduction to Judaism” class through our local reform synagogue. Though my paternal grandmother was Jewish, I was raised Catholic so I am so enjoying the opportunity to learn about the Jewish faith.
