I don’t know much about cars (and by “much” I mean anything), but I know a cute ride when I see one! The charming Fiat Jolly is on my dream car list. A modified version of the iconic Italian Fiat 500, the Fiat 600 or “Jolly” is doorless with wicker seats, and often, a snappy canopy roof. I’m especially fond of the canopies with stripes and festive fringe trim! Famous Jolly owners in history include former Fiat president Gianni Agnelli, Aristotle Onassis, Mae West, and the famously stylish Grace Kelly. The cars were originally manufactured in the 1950’s and 60’s and though rare today (some believe there are fewer than 100 in existence), many of those remaining have been restored to their former glory. Wouldn’t it make for the perfect ride for a beach holiday…? First I’ll need the Jolly, then the beach house to go with it! Below, explore more images of the darling Italian car. A girl can dream!
