Did you all watch the Golden Globes last night? I was fast asleep here in Denmark, but couldn’t resist checking out the red carpet (and Oprah’s killer speech) this morning. Below, I’ve rounded up my favorite looks in no particular order. Margot Robbie, above, had my favorite dress of the evening. She honored the black dress code (#metoo) in her Roger Vivier gown, but the silver sparkle helped it stand out from the crowd. I also love the subtle finger waves in her long bob and pink lipstick. Flawless.
Claire Foy looked insanely chic (when does she not?) in Stella McCartney. It was a bold choice not to wear a gown and she pulled it off with ease.
Zoe Kravitz made the list for her stunning pixie cut and statement earring combo. The emerald green popped. It doesn’t hurt that she’s absolutely gorgeous (those cheekbones!).
Sterling K. Brown looked dashing in his velvet blazer.
Alicia Vikander looked brilliant as always. Love the long sleeves. I’m guessing her gown was Louis Vuitton.
Dove Cameron because I’m a sucker for a bow. I’d love to see her with less eye makeup and a bold red lip.
Tracee Ellis Ross looked elegant and statuesque. Love the turban.
Rachel Brosnahan looked timeless in her one-shoulder Vionnet gown.
O-T Fagbenle looked dapper sporting velvet head to toe. I also love that he skipped socks and rocked tassel loafers.
Hong Chau looked ravishing in velvet Stella McCartney. The lace details made the gown.
Lily James looked like a princess in her romantic, ruffled gown. It was over-the-top girly, but it worked.
Viola Davis’ velvet gown was classic and incredibly flattering. I also admire her gorgeous Afro. Cheers for natural curls.
Elisabeth Moss looked ladylike in Dior Haute Couture. I loved the retro silhouette and beautifully beaded collar. What were your favorite looks of the evening? Who did I miss?
