This September, Christie’s in London will be auctioning off personal items owned by acting and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn. The historic collection will be on view to the public in an exhibition at Christie’s King Street headquarters from September 23 (booking my flight!) and an online sale will take place from September 19 until October 3. All the items were previously owned by the Hepburn family and have never been offered sale until now. Among the treasures are some of Audrey’s iconic ballet flats, a cigarette lighter engraved “FOR MY FAIR LADY,” a Burberry trench, her working script of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and more.
