Coach recently unveiled their new “Turnlock Tie” collection and offered to send me a tote for my neighborhood jaunts. As if they had to ask! I have long admired the iconic American brand’s craftsmanship and couldn’t wait to see the new design. The ‘Turnlock’ hardware was introduced by Bonnie Cashin, Coach’s acclaimed designer in the 60’s and 70’s, who was inspired by the closure of her soft top convertible. I love how the chic black leather tote I selected easily transitions from day to night. Since moving to Chicago I have spent most of my weekends exploring–the Gold Coast architecture, the green of Lincoln Park, and the skyline view from the North Beach waterfront. This past weekend I took my handsome new Coach bag out for a spin–enjoy some of my favorite neighborhood spots!
