I so admire the work of New York-based interior designer Michelle Smith and her personal abode recently published by One Kings Lane does not disappoint. The highlights for me were the shoe closet (that handsome blue!), steel windows, bright white bathroom with vintage fixtures, and the understatedly elegant kitchen. If only I could enlist her to do my place…

I am in love with her kitchen. The marble counter tops and those light fixtures (that remind me of large whisks!) are gorgeous. I’m also obsessed with that end table in her living room with the large gold base. Actually, I just love everything and could move right in!
Spotted her home the other day, so amazing! What I would do to just move in..that shoe closet, the white subway tile bathroom and then the kitchen! Love how it is fresh but also still very traditional and beautiful!
