Architectural Digest recently published photos of painter Alex Katz’ Soho studio and the images are just lovely. I’m a huge admirer of Katz’ work (especially his paintings of his beautiful wife and muse, Ada) and own several of his books. Someday perhaps I’ll be in a position to buy one…after all, a girl can dream!

I’m so happy to find this, he is my favorite. I don’t think photos of his paintings alone do his work justice, you have to see them like this – in scale next to a viewer – to get the full effect. Beautiful! :)
