I’ve been scouring Etsy for fun vintage art for our apartment and these apple prints were too sweet to pass up. The 6″ x 9″ pages are from reference book published in 1901 and with shipping cost me less than $12. Chic and cheap—now I can splurge on frames!
Too cute, I love framing vintage prints, and these are so perfect for Fall!
How adorable! Which frames are you going to chose?
Chedva — No idea yet. I need to find something to work with the other framed pieces I have. Probably something simple, gold or black… : )
So cute. I love putting vintage prints in ornate frames….like Rococo gold but I think that just might be my Art History degree talking.
Dear Katie, I have to say…your website/blog frequently makes my day. It is the one place I come to time and again for a total ‘escape’ from the drizzle outside my Vancouver window. It is not just the fabulous content, it is the sheer wit in which you communicate things, and intriguing variety you put forth. I am constantly inspired by your well-edited choices. Kudo’s on having a trained eye for the unique and fantastic, and thank you for providing some entertaining relief from many a boring blog out there. :o)
Shoshana — As a fellow art history addict, I totally understand. We’ll have to see if I can get my hands on some extravagant frames!
Patty — Oh my goodness, you are too kind! It has been a rather long day and your sweet words were just what I needed. Thank YOU for reading and being so supportive. It’s lovely women like yourself that make all the time I put into my little blog so very worth it. Do keep in touch—I’ve long wanted to visit Vancouver! Much love, xx Katie
So cute and unique. I love getting art off of etsy – it’s the best way to decorate your walls!
P.S. I’m back and married!!! :) xoxo
Rats! I wish I got to the first. They’d be perfect, considering we have the apple orchard here.
Colleen — Oh my gosh, you’re back and I’m a horrible person because I never got you the guest post you so sweetly asked for so many times. I can’t believe how forgiving you are. I owe you a huge favor. Anytime. I promise. xoxoxo P.S. OMG YOU’RE MARRIED!?!!?
Deanna — I bet if you search “apple print” you’ll find a ton on Etsy. Just look in the vintage section. Good luck! xx
hi katie :) there’s another etsy store called libris lunaria (http://www.etsy.com/shop/librislunaria) that sells similar prints such as the apple. thought you might enjoy it
Sharon — Thank you for sharing the shop with us! They have such great things!

Wow, these are beautiful! I love Etsy and I love affordable vintage art! :)) Are there any Etsy shops selling vintage prints that you can recommend?
I think I might have said this before, but I’ll say it again: of all the blogs I read, yours is my favorite one, Katie.
