The New York Social Diary always has interesting home tours and the latest of Milly de Cabrol’s Manhattan abode was a fast favorite. The Italian decorator’s taste is decidedly European and I just adore her home’s multitude of colors, patterns and textures. I can’t stop swooning over the layered Turkish and Moroccan rugs over the wall-to-wall sisal and the bookcase, don’t even get me started on the bookcase!

Love her upscale bohemian apartment (and her work) and the bookcase is my favorite too – like everyone else it looks like.

yes — the books are a hands down favorite, especially the random stacks of books all over. Books are décor no matter where you stack them!
