All I can think about recently is decorating our new apartment and I’ve been pouring over the Design*Sponge Sneak Peek archives for inspiration. This space belonging to Abbey Nova is particularly lovely, don’t you think? The multitude of artwork, cherry red vintage phone, and blue velvet sofa all made me swoon. Such a taste of heaven! Abbey just finished her Master’s and took a position at the Metropolitan Museum of Art—how exciting! Be sure to check out her fantastic blog, Abbey Goes Design Scouting.

why can’t my desk be that tidy? do people really operate that neatly? what’s wrong with me?! I love that double ledge mantel!!
isn’t it so fun when you have a brand new space to decorate? so many possibilities!! love how she designed her mantel – so fun! can’t wait to see what you end up doing with your new place :)
I’m loving the bright colors paired with natural woods and “adult” desk set ups.

Swoon worthy indeed. Artwork, always my favorite part of a room – the more the merrier!
Abbey’s place is wonderful — I can see why you’re so inspired by it. I would just love to flop down on the big couch, grab a blanket, and read by the fire in the winter. And I love all the inspirational prints and art about. Just lovely.
So cozy!
Dude, no way! I had a scarily similar post scheduled for today that just went live. I saw your post and almost started laughing. Abbey’s place is phenomenal isn’t it? It has been tacked on my bulletin board as inspiration as I’ve been decorating our new apartment the past few months. Great minds think alike! :)
Love it all! She has a great blog and I must have missed her sneak peak!
