Kiera and Amy — WELCOME!!! Love new faces, quite certain yours are adorable. Glad you like the new additions to the shop. More to come tomorrow, and the next day, and the one after that : ) XO Katie
I need to be quicker with your finds! I went to purchase the two vintage milk glass vases, the small, square one’s, and they’re gone now:( Learned my lesson! But your addition’s are always frequent and fun so I shall not sulk:)
I could picture that blue and white vase in my home. Such pretty pieces!
Your book arrangements are creative… hmm… off to go arrange my shelves :)
Haydee — I know which ones you’re talking about, the hobnob square planters—so cute, I had them on my bookshelf until they sold! I’ll keep my eyes peeled for more. XO
Love the owls and the sailboat!! great finds!!!
As a Rice University alumnus, I’m very tempted to get those owls! You have a fantastic blog, a great eye, and very real, very rare talent.
Ted — I don’t know that I’m worthy of your praise, but I like it all the same. Do stop by again! XO Katie
Those are fab and I have that same crystal necklace in the dish from my Grandmother!
Such awesome stuff! I really love those owls! (I’m still sulking about missing out on the greyhound!) XOXO
Hi Katie – Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog, so sweet…but especially because it introduced me to your blog which i am now officially obsessed with! i love your etsy shop as well. i’ll be back quite often! :-)
La Feem — Mine is from J.Crew, but my grandmother had a very similar one that was a custom piece from Chanel. Clearly both our grandmothers had great style : ) Thanks for stopping in!
Amanda — Well then, I’ll just have to find you some greyhounds. XO
Andrea — Welcome! So glad you’re pleased. The admiration is mutual I assure you! XO
i LOVE the geese!!!!
I love your jewelry! So pretty.
Joanna — That’s because you have babies on the mind : ) So exciting!! XO
Anna — Thank you! An old classmate of mine from Switzerland lives in the Philippines and sends me beautiful fresh water pearls…I’m a lucky gal! XO
omg i LOVEEE the elephants and the jewelry tray (+ the jewelry in it)!
Ahhh I need those owls!! I just bought rubber stamp owls. My love of owls goes back to 3rd grade when I drew a snowy white owl for class. I still have it. So there ya go, a little story about me for the day. :)
Those owls are calling my name. I already have two eerily-similar ones sitting quite happily on my bookshelf, but surely they could use some friends? The more the merrier, I say!
OMG I want to go hunting with you. I know that stuff in the West VA area is so well priced compared to NYC area and often folks don’t realize the gems!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the owls but they were gone already by the time I got to the post!!! Lynn from Decor Arts Now.
PS; wasn’t there going to be an email thing when you posted new stuff? I would sign up if possible.
Lynn — So true about West Virginia! There will be a newsletter, it’s in the works. Some of these things have actually been up for a few days. I try my best to list daily…. I happen to have another set of brass owls. Will photograph and email to you shortly : )
XO Katie
