I don’t know about you, but I’m really happy it’s Friday. The sun is out here for the first time in what seems like weeks. It’s a good day to be alive. I’m about to return to my bubble wrap (shipping, shipping, shipping), but wanted to leave you with some pretty images by the lovely Abby of Abby Try Again. All of these are available as prints in her shop. Aren’t they lovely? Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Anyone have special plans??? XO Katie

These photos are beautiful! The sun is actually shining here too today; I’ve just realized how much I’ve missed it! We were supposed to go to a ‘Winter Party’ Saturday, but I think we’ll forgo it to just hang out with the kids all weekend…since the week was so stressful! But no big plans sometimes end up in the best times! Have a wonderful weekend Kate!! XOXO

Incredible photos. I kinda wish I would be off on a photographic adventure this weekend, but I have a conference to attend here in San Diego (the AAAS conference on Science and Culture, actually). It should be interesting and I’m looking forward to learning some new things.
Kate, I hope you have a splendid weekend!

Well, it was sunny yesterday….
At least we don’t have the 12-inches of snow on the ground like we did last week!!!! It’s pretty, but I don’t think I could spend a whole winter putting up with it.
I’m going to a gardening seminar on bed preparation and design for vegetables!! I know, I know…. try not to get too excited! ;-) But hopefully I’ll learn some useful tips so that we get some tomatoes this year.
Have a great weekend!

The smocking on that coat is amazing. I was never a good smocker. Always wished I had been. Now, I really don’t have time. When I have grandchildren….way in the future.
