I finally got around to flipping through some of my March fashion glossies last night and am in love with the new Missoni campaign shot by Juergen Teller in Bazaar. It’s just so casual and unpretentious which I personally find wonderfully refreshing. Three generations of the Missoni family were present for the shoot which took place at the Margherita’s grandparents’ home in Sumirago, Italy (twenty minutes north of Milan). Looking at the photos you feel as though they’ve invited you over for lunch—looks delish to me.
Love the fun, casual, family vibe!
Love these! Adore the Missoni line. Nice to see the family behind it, you are right, they do seem so warm and real.
Stephanie—Exactly, love the casual family vibe!
Zhush—“Real” is the perfect word for them based on these images—love that.
So lovely, great family and great company! Love Missoni Home especially!
beautiful!! i just wish i could afford something missoni- ah, one day, yes?
these pictures are great — like was said before, very real. i guess beauty and charm are part of italians’ genes.
I love these photos. They looks so candid and not posed. Love these!
I really liked this campaign too. Especially the grandparents!
I picked this up on Tuesday and COULD NOT get over Margherita’s luscious lip color! XO
I used to walk by the Missoni store in Lugano and drool. I love how worldly their home looks!
Lauren—Same here! I bought an awesome, huuuge beach towel at the Missoni outlet near Lugano—it’s in storage in California somewhere now, but I’m dying to dig it out. One of these days… XO
I love Margherita Missoni. She’s so beautiful!
