This red-headed stud muffin is my little brother, Joe. He’s pretty much phenomenal. I try not to blog too much about personal matters, but he has great neo-trad style so I figure it fits. Over the course of the next two weeks Joe’s auditioning for all the top musical theater programs in the country. That’s right he’s a triple threat — the kid can sing, act and dance. Some schools accept as few as five males which makes it like getting into Harvard…but harder. And it helps if you can tap. Yesterday, Joe got some very promising news. Congratulations love and thanks for making me the proudest big sis on the planet. You, my friend, have serious flair.
Next stop, Broadway!

This is an awesome photo. I remember when I was his age and doing the same thing: auditioning for schools (even though I was a very good singer, I decided to go for the non-musical theatre programs). This is now where I sing the praises of NYU (I so hope he applied there). If he wants Broadway, that’s the place to be.
Oooooh, he should SO audition for Glee too!!

I keep trying to switch, but i always go back to Cristalle by Chanel. I took a quiz in Seventeen magazine when I was 11, and that was the scent it told me to wear!

Awww, best of luck to him! My littlest brother graduated from college last year, packed up headed to LA and is trying his hand at the business of show. He’s an extra on Days among other things (was in the #1 clip on funnyordie.com this week). Those crazy kids :o)
