Well, the second issue of Lonny magazine has officially launched online (yippee!) and I nearly died when I came across an article on the one and only J.Crew N Ten Ninety-Five. For those of you who haven’t yet been, it very well may be the most beautifully decorated retail shop I’ve ever set foot in. Reclaimed hickory floors (in a traditional herringbone pattern, but left unfinished) and vintage kilim rugs set the mood which screams of old New York glamour. The powder room makes a statement with deliciously bold vertical black and white stripes and the rooms are illuminated with vintage Sputnik and French Serge Mouille fixtures. J.Crew Creative director Jenna Lyons is responsible for the exquisite decor and took inspiration from her own newly renovated Park Slope brownstone (yes, the one that graced the cover of our beloved Domino). Everything from the quirky, understated artwork to the unlacquered brass finished hardware speaks to Jenna’s now trademark aesthetic and I just can’t get enough. Congratulations to Lonny on issue N.2 and J.Crew for a store certainly worthy of their praise.

I was so excited about the second issue of Lonny! Although… do you have any idea if the first issue is gone forever? I can’t seem to find it anymore!
I still can’t believe it’s a JCrew. It’s like the JCrew that put all other JCrews to shame.
Just delicious.
I LOOOOOVED that bathroom!!
And the floors! Beautiful!!
Couldn’t agree more! Love JCREW and love Lonny!
lonny + jcrew = :)
i’m going to read it immediately.
and happy weekend!

I’m loving Lonny, just wish it came in “real” form too.
