I’ve decided I’m in desperate need of my own flat file for all my papers, art, samples and such—-don’t you think it’s a grand idea? I’m particularly in love with the 1920’s pine set above available at Ruby Beets in Sag Harbor. It’s vintage perfection and unfortunately for me, the price reflects it. Other options? The gorgeous, reclaimed pine “illusorio cabinet” below by Anthropologie or the Restoration Hardware “printmaker’s sideboard” at bottom. Apparently I’m not the only one demanding something pretty to store my papers!

Oh I have been looking for an affordable one of these for two years to house all my jewelry! I want to line the drawers in velvet… I have so much of it, this seems like the best solution. Nice to see they are being remade at an affordable price nowadays!
