Art Prints for Kids’ Rooms

I’m always looking for playful art prints for Gabe’s bedroom walls (explore my inspiration for his room here!) and thought you might enjoy seeing some of my latest art finds for little ones. While I love collecting original artwork, in this post I’ve focused on prints as they’re affordable and often, open editions (meaning they won’t sell out overnight).

Personally, in kids’ bedrooms and playrooms I love a mix of mediums in a gallery wall—think linocuts, photographs, illustration, and more. Don’t be afraid to mix styles either—the juxtaposition of a traditional antique sailboat print next to a modern abstract painting is where the magic happens! I am thankful we live in 2021 and boys can have pink and girls can have blue (or any color they wish!). Decorating a little boy’s room doesn’t have to mean all trucks and airplanes—find out what your little one is passionate about and embrace it (my sweet Gabe currently loves pink!).
