My tastes are leaning rather minimal these days and I should like to go here for a week with a stack of good books and pile of cashmere sweaters. Not sure how long I’d last without running water, but the clean lines and sparse furnishings are fascinating, aren’t they? The 800-square-foot vacation home is located on a remote island on a lake in Finland and was designed by Avanto Architects. You can learn more about it in The New York Times.
P.S. How lovely does it look in wintertime? I find it wonderfully romantic.
