We sent Matchbook’s July issue live this morning and I am so proud of our little team! One of my favorite pieces to work on was the Georgia O’Keeffe “Kindred Spirit” pictured above. She was such a fascinating woman and and I had such fun imagining what treasures she might have had. I think I may order that stunning photo of her hands shot by her husband Alfred Stieglitz. I love that he photographed her endlessly — oh to be someone’s muse! I hope you enjoy the issue.
Congrats on another fabulous issue! Have a lovely Fourth! xo
Loved this piece! IMHO this was the best issue of Matchbook yet! Congrats!
That was my favorite as well. I really love that idea, imagining what a famous artist would have as possessions. It puts the reality of their being into perspective in a new way. The artist isn’t’ just some ephemeral idea but a physically present being.
