I picked up a $6 bunch of hydrangeas at Trader Joe’s this evening and it totally made my day. I came home, danced to David Bowie while vacuuming (glamorous, I know…), lit some candles, and tidied things up a bit. It’s the little things, isn’t it?

You’re lucky you have pups instead of cats. My kitten would be eating the hydrangeas and stamps, burning her whiskers on the candle, and knocking over the matches. Fortunately she is a very chic accessory with beautiful and white fur! ;)

I pick up my fresh flowers at Trader Joe’s as well – sometimes twice a week because they’re so reasonably priced! :) I usually get the roses with eucalyptus stems for our entryway table, but I went (blue) hydrangeas this week instead – don’t they make you feel like spring’s just around the corner? Your coffee table looks awesome, btw!
