Care to see my dream home? I had such fun pulling together some of my very favorite interiors (a bit of Aerin Lauder here, a touch of Hamish Bowles there) for Paloma’s “Dream Home” series on La Dolce Vita. It was so hard to choose! Can’t wait to hear what you think — did I sum up my girlish, traditional-with-a-twist style?
and that car! perfection! congrats on Matchbook! well done!
This is my very first time here… I’m dreaming with you! Your “dream house” is simply FUN!
Have a wonderful day!

Wow – perfect! I love all of your choices. Each room was so chic yet so liveable. I also loved that all of your choices had fantastic art.
First off, I would just like to point out that your choice in a white southern plantation home is truly classic, and would consider living in a plantation home a dream any day. Secondly, you have been such an inspiration to me in many ways ever since you began this blog, and your newly published matchbook magazine. If any young belle needed someone to look up to, it would be you. You make classics, and etiquette look lovely and so effortless. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
yes, definitely traditional with a twist. esp with that lovely convertible up front. all it asks for is someone to waltz up with an hermes silk scarf tied around her hair!
They are spot-on with loads of character.
I LOVE Aerin Lauder’s home! I posted about it a while ago and think it may be my ultimate dream home … oh, and I’ll take the car too :) Have a fabulous day darling!

Absolutely stunning! I can imagine this as something to similar to my own dream home! Thanks for sharing :)
I absolutely love all your choices! Have you seen Tory Burch’s NYC apt? You might like that too. :)
Lacquered Life — I wanted to include that very apartment, but my Vogue Living Book was a bit too big to scan! Love Tory’s place…to die for!
Katie–This is not related to the post but I had to tell you I just finally had a chance to look at the first edition of Matchbook and wanted to congratulate you on a job beautifully done! I have become so discouraged by magazines aimed at women that are basically soft porn (I am not going to name names-but you probably know which I am talking about!)or are promoting a lifestyle that is aspirational, but just too far removed from reality. I am so impressed by the quality of the content, photos and layout and hope eventually to see this produced in hard copy. You and your team should be so proud of what- I hope- will be the first of many issues.
:) Leslie
