I’ve saved hundreds of inspiration images recently for our new apartment, but the two above from Alaina’s vanity are among my very favorites. Not only are her vintage teacups absolutely charming, but the way she’s used them to display her sparkling baubles…magnifique! Do you have a creative way of displaying your jewelry?

this summer, i have a myriad of vintage knobs (crystal, milk glass, etc) that i plan on arranging together on the wall to house my favorite necklaces.
your vintage teacup idea sounds utterly charming! blends my two loves of tea and baubles :)

This is a great way to store and display jewelry – absolutely love it! Thanks for sharing. =)

I don’t but now I want to start doing this. And if you can’t find great vintage teacups, I know you can get pretty cute vintage-inspired ones at Marshalls or TJ Maxx.

I had noticed that too… what a great idea!

I’ve actually been thinking a lot about how to display my jewelry better, I’m having a bit of a out of sight out of mind situation lately so I end up not wearing any of my baubles. Loving this teacup idea!!

I’m definitely boring when it comes to my jewelry. It’s just in a simple jewelry box! I do have a sweet little ring holder on my night stand though!
I’m loving the teacups, but even more, I love the mint julep cup too!

Sylvie — The knob idea is genius too! I saw it done recently on a blog with pretty glass knobs from Anthro and it was tres chic!
Christina — Good call on TJ Maxx. I’ll have to swing by on the hunt for reproduction teacups!
Hip Hip Gin Gin — So funny, I’m just the opposite! I haven’t been wearing any jewels for the last six months, but just recently I’m on bauble overload. I think it goes in phases : )
Kate — I love cute little ring stands! I’m eying some simple acrylic/lucite jewelry holders at The Container Store actually. Very simple, yet chic.

I’ve been seeing some fantastic vintage teacups lately. I think I’m developing some teacup envy too. They’re just gorgeous — I can’t wait to find a spot to store some.

What a beautiful way to enjoy your jewelry! I always keep mine tucked away in my closet, and suddenly it feels like abuse!

Loving these teacups. I did this once by accident, in which the tea cup was on my bedside table (empty of course), and I needed a place to put my earrings and bracelet before bed. I must say, these are fantastic tea cups.

Just lovely. I just want to grab them off the computer screen. :D

Very clever indeed! She has equally wonderful taste in tea cups, jewelry and sunglasses – which by the way, I love that she stores her sunglasses in a mint julep cup. Lovely!
