I’m all about making 2020 a year in which I surround myself with beautiful things (some new, some old, all pretty!). As William Morris once said, “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” Without further ado, here are some of the latest fashion, furniture, and home decor pieces on my never-ending wish list:
Bianca Lacquered Linen Parsons Desk
This new lacquered linen desk is absolutely gorgeous and looks like something Aerin would have in one of her homes.
Puff Sleeve Knit Sweater
This sweet short sleeve sweater is under $30, is super soft, and is the perfect winter to spring transition piece. Love the feminine puff sleeve detail. Did I mention it also comes in beige?
Eden Martini Table
This darling new cocktail table by Serena & Lily (they have so many great new arrivals!) made me smile. Love the clover shape and raffia detail. Perfect spot next to sofa or comfy upholstered chair to set your drink!
Leopard Print Ballet Flats
These leopard print calf hair ballet flats are me to a T. They’re very reasonably priced and I’m loving the new styles lately that show no toe cleavage and look more like real ballet slippers. Timeless! Oh and they’re also available at Nordstrom.
Silver-Tone, Crystal, and Pearl Earrings
These vintage inspired statement earrings would surely turn heads.
Neve Marble Coffee Table
Love this new marble coffee table design from West Elm. The tapered leg is chic, don’t you think?
Recycled Cashmere Blend Beanie
I love the pop of pink from this affordable cashmere blend beanie. It’s also available in a bunch of other great colors (that blue, too!).
Copper with White Stripe Dhurrie
This new copper dhurrie design by CB2 is so handsome and perhaps more importantly, would hide my pugs’ muddy paw prints. Would love it paired with granny chic chintz upholstery (which I have lots of!).
Fenghuang Ceramic Table Lamp
This fabulous Chinese style ginger jar table lamp is by OKA (they’re kind of like a luxurious British version of Pottery Barn). I used to pop into their shops in London and am so happy they’re now shipping to U.S. Explore their entire collection here.
Ribbon Embroidered Silk Top
Okay, so it’s pricey, but I had to include this embroidered top because close up the ribbon design is just so pretty! Leave it to Rebecca Taylor to come up with something so feminine and lovely.
Kiki Cap Toe Ballet Flat
Get the classic Chanel look for less with these new cap toe flats. They’re also available in an unapologetically preppy navy and kelly green combo.
Round Natural Corn Husk Placemats
Spruce up your table settings with these affordable corn husk placemats. Love that with different styling they can easily transition from winter to spring!
Textured Polka Dot Blouse
Polka dots are one of my favorite things and this pretty blouse is so simple and smart. I’d wear it with jeans and a bright colored sandal.
Gingham Sheet Set
You know I love my gingham and this new French Blue color of Serena & Lily’s bestselling gingham sheets are high on my wish list.
Mr. Boddington’s Etiquette: Charm and Civility for Every Occasion
I recently stumbled across this new-ish etiquette book by the witty folks at Mr. Boddington’s Studio and it looks so charming. Would make for a lovely gift!
Coral Chandelier
I’d love to hang this coral chandelier somewhere unexpected (i.e. not in a beach house).
Wool Alpaca Blend Cardigan
This handsome navy wrap cardigan has a pretty gathered detail at the shoulder. It also comes in grey. Perfect to wear with mom jeans and ballet flats (see above).
Straw Mini Tote Bag
When I’m traveling alone (some of my favorite solo trips to date include Marrakech, Amsterdam, and Lisbon!) I prefer not to carry a designer bag, but my favorite casual straw bag doesn’t zip. This little straw bag with it’s canvas lining and handsome leather straps would be the perfect solution! It’s also available in this larger version—I’m coveting them both.
Bikini Top and High-Waisted Tortoise Button Bikini Briefs
This fabulous bikini would make you feel like a Bond girl. I’m obsessed with the high-waist bottoms and tortoise buttons—yes, please! The bikini top has matching matching buttons on the back, too. It also comes as an equally chic one-piece!
Scalloped Bone Inlay Mirror
This scalloped bone inlay mirror would look lovely above a console table in a foyer or above a dresser in a bedroom.
Cheetah Silk Jacquard Blouse
This subtle tone on tone leopard print silk blouse is right up my alley. Luxurious with a bit of bite.
Parisian Woven Dining Chair
Loving this new woven cafe chair design by Pottery Barn. They also come in a counter stool height. So gorgeous, no? Did I mention they’re on sale?

I am so glad you are back! I was beginning to think there was an issue with Gabe and you didn’t have time to write and explore for us…sounds like he is growing and very happy!
