Greetings, dear readers! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Simon and I went to our favorite flea market Saturday morning (I bought some Staffordshire dishes and he added to his vinyl collection) and that evening we had our old neighbors over for dinner (Alfred was so happy to see his best friend, Thor). It’s been over 80 degrees here in Copenhagen and the entire country has come alive (this May was the warmest May on record in Denmark!). On Sunday we went to visit a neighbor I met by chance while walking Alfred last week. Judith is 89-years-old and fled to Denmark as a child refugee in 1933 from Berlin, Germany. Simon and I had such a lovely time visiting with her and hearing her stories. I’m so happy to have a new friend. Moving along to our regular programming—as you know, each day I scour the web for beautiful new pieces for your home and wardrobe. Here is to new friends–loved the story of you meeting someone through Alfred! We have two pugs and more people in our neighborhood know their names than mine and it’s just lovely. Enjoy the warm summer weather and thanks for all the work you do–I love to see all the beautiful things you find for us!

Tara – Isn’t it wonderful how dogs help you meet people? It’s how we’ve met most our neighbors as well! Thanks so much for reading! xo
