Move over Scandinavian minimalism, lately, I’ve been coveting all things boho-chic. Inspired by my recent trips to Marrakech and Istanbul, I’m dreaming of a bohemian summer full of flowing kaftans and embroidered tunics. From Grace Kelly (killing it above in Pucci) to Lee Radziwill, fashion icons throughout history have sported the timeless maxi-design. Below, find some of my favorite kaftan moments in history and my suggestions on how the rest of us can get the look.

Love love love!! One of my pipe dreams has always been to be the kind of woman who casually wears kaftans every day (a la Eddie Monsoon in Absolutely Fabulous). Of course these are all stunning finds (as usual).

So cute! I spend the summer after having my first daughter in a vintage mexican dress from Etsy. They have lots of great options that are pretty reasonable!

Jennifer – I have tons of Meixcan dresses saved to my Etsy favorites (great minds!), maybe that should be a new blog post?! xo
