Looking for a bit of interior inspiration? This handsome home, belonging to New York-based architect Brian Sawyer, made my heart sing. Published by T Magazine, the three-bedroom West Village apartment is filled with rich color and has a cabinet-of-curiousity-like charm. The writer describes Sawyer as “A born naturalist, besotted with butterflies and seashells…” A kindred spirit indeed! My favorite touches are the porcelain pugs above the mantle (he has a pet pug named Alice!) and the paneled walls painted Benjamin Moore’s Witching Hour. For your viewing pleasure, I also found additional photos on the website of Sawyer’s archiectural firm. Chic, chic, chic.
