More photos of The Duchess of Cambridge in British Vogue‘s June 2016 issue have finally surfaced online and no surprise here: they’re positively stunning. In true Kate fashion, the images are casually styled in a timeless, British aesthetic. The photos were taken by Josh Olins in celebration of Vogue’s 100th anniversary. I’ll be scouring Copenhagen for a copy this weekend!

Did you see the NYT article about these photos? Apparently a lot of people don’t “approve” of them, saying they should be more fashion-y or aspirational, or just styled more. Everyone has an opinion, of course! I think they’re gorgeous and I kind of admire how much she strives to show how relatable and normal she is.

Jackie – I have to read it! I can see their argument, but at the same time I think it’s awesome that she just looks like herself, not like she’s wearing a costume. She’s a mom of two young kids, not prancing around in ball gowns and stilettos. Like you, I love how relatable this shoot is!
