Architectural Digest just published this vibrant Brooklyn brownstone designed by Nick Olsen in their August issue. I’ve long been a fan of Nick’s fearless approach to decorating and this family’s colorful space is no exception. The lacquer blue library looks like the perfect place to cozy up with a book, don’t you think…? I can’t wait to read the full story in print.

I so love the combo of blue armchairs and red coffee table. I hope I will make it happen in my house in the future. Thanks for beautiful inspiration

Nick is one of my favorites too. Love the bedroom shown and that little desk area the best. Have to admit I’m not wild about the wall covering in that first room, but I like everything else (that sort of sponge-paint/wash texture is just too 80’s for me!).
