Today I’m sharing a blast from the past — a 2009 story shot by Todd Selby and published in his awesome book, The Selby in Your Place. Designer Derrick Miller and interior designer Jennifer Vaughn Miller have an apartment in Manhattan and a beach house in the North Fork of Long Island. As you can see, they were photographed at the shingle beach house in wintertime and the result is charming. They’ve made the rustic space feel modern by sticking to a simple white palette and incorporating fun touches like the lucite nightstand. I’d love to call a little place like this home.
