This photo of Nigella Lawson in her private library in London made me deep green with envy. I have my dear friend Jenna to thank for sending it my way. Can you even imagine owning that many beautiful books? I’ve already saved the image in my “dream home” file. Someday ladies, someday!

OMG – ABsolutely adore this!!! I’ve never seen this photo. Looks like something right out of Beauty and the Beast! Can’t even imagine!

Swoon! I have to feature this photo on my own blog! I remember an interview with Nigella from years ago, in O magazine, in which she lists her favorite books. She came across as fiercely intelligent and extremely well-read, and her book choices were so interesting. I would love to sit down and have a drink with her….and Emma Thompson (another intelligent, well-read lady).

And I’m sure she’s hiding some fabulous step ladder to reach all the way to the tippy top-lucky girl!

fabulous, but I have to let you know that she is selling her London home, apparently she and her husband are tired of the upstairs/next (not sure) neighbors who are doing some kind of building repairs, the house is on sale for 36 million pounds ($54m) better be fabulous like that library!!! :)

I could tell that profile was Nigella – speaking of Girl Crush, I could watch her eat all day! She makes whatever she cooks look like the tastiest thing ever. I blame my booty on her chocolate mousse. Totally worth it.

All the more reason to adore this divine creature. Beauty, brains, a lusty appreciation for food, and books for days, if not months, years, and decades!

Well. Let me just wipe the drool from my mouth and say that this photo is amazing. Book heaven, I think. Plus, it makes me feel slightly less inclined to worry of my own bookish clutter…
