Whenever I read Katy Elliott’s blog I get goosebumps! I have such fun tagging along as she and her man ambitiously renovate their charming historic home in Marblehead, Massachusetts. It seems she teaches me something new every day (about shingles or chimneys or cobblestone driveways…) and I appreciate that she tells the good, the bad and the ugly of the exhausting (but surely rewarding!) process. She also bakes, knits, paints and gardens—what a gal!
Needless to say, I’m a big fan : )
How adorable!
And I wonder if that’s the same Martha Stewart recipe for strawberry rhubarb galette that I’ve used – just made it with plums last week!
Thanks for the new read.
C’est moi — You can make those too?! I’m impressed. If only I could bake without burning the house down…
Charming styling! This is a new to me blog so I’m off to check it out now…thanks for highlighting it. Will
Aw thanks! So sweet of you to say!
I’m also a big fan of hers…such a fun adventure to follow!
Kate, I thought for a hot second that Ms. Elliott had inspired YOU to bake those gorgeous strawberry-rhubarb treats. I was in absolute shock til I finished reading. Glad to see you haven’t changed *that* much ;) xoxo
Jill — Hahahaha. Not quite! The day I bake something beyond Betty Crocker you’ll hear about it. John will probably dedicate a Facebook post or something of the sort…so sad! : )
Your blog is like a breath of fresh air!
